So how old will I actually be on Friday, March 6? Well.. according to my students I’ll be 45, 64, or 100. It’s hard to believe that I’ll be the big 24 even though I look like a high schooler still. I suppose that’s a good thing, right?
When a student in my classroom has a birthday we like to celebrate! However, when it comes to my birthday, I’d rather hide under my desk. Is it weird to say I don’t like to be the center of attention? I guess some might not agree with that statement. Haha!
Anyways… in celebration of my 24th birthday I am having a giveaway! *Throws confetti*
In my two years of teaching, I have a number of “favorite” items that I use. Some of these items include:
Contigo Steel Travel Mug – This is my absolute favorite mug and it keeps my coffee warm too! I make my coffee at 7:30 every morning and it’s still warm at 10:30. It’s crazy!
Paper Mate Flair Pens – These flair pens are my absolute favorite writing tool. Whether you’re using them to grade papers, modeling on the document camera, or writing a note, they’re perfect for everyday use!
Glue Dots Craft Sheets – No more sticky mess using those glue bottles. No more “dot, dot, not a lot.” These glue dots solve all those dilemmas! I am a big Oriental Trading fanatic and these glue dots are perfect for everything craft related.
Stanley Bostitch Staple Remover – This may seem like kind of a silly “favorite” item, but I’ve had my share of putting up and taking down bulletin boards. This staple remover makes my job so much easier and I no longer hurt my fingers/fingernails trying to get those measly staples out!
Mr. Sketch Scented Markers – These markers make any activity a huge hit! My students absolutely love them and Mr. Sketch has some great scents too!
Scotch Thermal Laminator – Even though we have a large laminator at school, there is nothing like the portability and accessibility of the Scotch thermal laminator.
Now that I have shared some of my favorite items, I would love to hear some of yours! Leave a comment below about your favorite item(s) that you can’t live without!
